Beneath the searing pain and deep sorrow, lies love


The angel I see over there exudes a gentle disposition.
The angel danced gracefully towards her steps.
Her smile captivated me,
soft with with a hint of sorrow.
Her eyes seem to be so far away,
crying silently in her heart.
Melancholy swept across her delicate face,
her wings suddenly became heavy.
Unable to move,
as she unconsciously attached herself to my world,
this black world of mine.
Lured into my core,
where I've become so numb.
My spirit's sleeping somewhere cold.
Forgiveness is unpardonable,
as devil and angel are unable to co-exist.
Yet somehow, they managed to live through.
Not hurting you is not an option anymore.
Portrayed as the devil is nothing new.
As the devil stays out of the angel's life,
not affording to shed any tears,
the devil hiding in the shadows,
silently prays for the angel's well being.
